Childhood & Early Life

Tori Moore was born Victoria Danielle Moore on June 6, 1990, in Brea, California, USA, to Rosina and Daniel Moore. She went to ‘Brea Olinda High School’ where she played volleyball. She trained under the tutelage of Dave Hollaway and won the ‘Most Valuable Player’ (MVP) award during her sophomore year. After graduating from high school in 2008, Moore went to the ‘University of Arizona’ where she continued playing volleyball. In 2011, she played 18 games during which she made 25 assists and four digs. However, she quit playing volleyball after landing a job in the digital marketing department of the famous footwear manufacturing company ‘Nike.’

Fighting POTS

In 2013, Moore was diagnosed to be suffering from ‘POTS’ while working for ‘Nike’ in Portland, Oregon. Since the condition is deemed uncommon, a major part of her struggle was to be diagnosed accurately. Initially, the lightheadedness caused by the syndrome was thought to be caused by a virus and she was diagnosed for ‘Lyme Disease.’ She recorded her struggle in a now-defunct blog post titled ‘Healing As We Go.’ Luckily for her, Nick Foles was always by her side. In fact, she got engaged to him during her stay at the ‘Mayo Clinic’ in 2014.

In 2018, Moore and Foles spoke at the annual meeting of a nonprofit association called ‘Dysautonomia International’ which is dedicated to conducting research on ‘POTS.’

Relationship with Nick Foles

Tori Moore met Nick Foles when they were studying at the ‘University of Arizona.’ Though Foles was attracted to her straightaway, they did not start dating until after their graduation in 2011. The couple tied the knot on April 26, 2014, amidst Moore’s struggle with ‘POTS.’ They got married at a court house in the presence of their family members and friends. On June 16, 2017, Moore and Foles were blessed with a daughter named Lily James Foles. Nick Foles has often credited his on-field success to her. Moore remains an ardent supporter of her husband’s sporting career and accompanies him to all major games. She also attends public events alongside Foles and manages his day-to-day life.

Tori Moore has two siblings, namely Evan Moore and Ryan Moore. Her brother Evan is a former American football player who represented ‘Green Bay Packers,’ ‘Cleveland Browns,’ ‘Seattle Seahawks,’ and ‘Philadelphia Eagles’ in the ‘NFL.’ He currently works as a ‘College Football’ analyst and appears in shows on ‘FOX Sports.’

Both Moore and Foles are strong believers in God. Moore believes that God has helped her fight ‘POTS’ with faith, determination, and hope. Moore and Foles contribute towards charity as well. In 2016, they donated 250,000 USD to the athletic department of the ‘University of Arizona.’ Tori Moore currently lives in Austin, Texas, USA.
