Toukie Smith, born as Doris Smith, is an American model and actress best known for appearing as Eva Rawley in NBC’s sitcom ‘227’ as well as for her role in the series ‘Miami Vice’. She has also done a handful of movies, such as ‘Me and Him’, ‘Talkin' Dirty After Dark’, ‘I Like It Like That’, ‘Joe's Apartment’, ‘The Preacher's Wife’ and ‘Goosed’. Smith, who is the sister of the deceased fashion designer Willi Smith, has modelled for several brands, such as Geoffrey Beene, Chanel, Thierry Mugler, Norma Kamali, Patrick Kelly, Versace and Issey Miyake. She has also modelled for her late brother’s line. Smith has had a successful print modelling career as well and has appeared in numerous publications including ‘Cosmopolitan,’ ‘Seventeen,’ ‘Vogue,’ ‘Ebony,’ ‘Redbook’ and ‘ELLE’ magazines. Talking about the honors the American model has received, she was once named Bloomingdale's ‘Model of the Year’ and turned out to be the first African-American model to have a mannequin designed in her likeness.
