Tray had a passion for music since he was in middle school. He always wanted to make a career in the entertainment industry. With time, he inclined toward modeling and acting.

Tray grew up in a neighborhood that was highly influenced by hip-hop culture. The area was also plagued with crime, danger, and violence. This reflects in most of his music. Most of his songs deal with topics such as real friendship, devoted love, and street romance. Some of his most popular tracks are 'Killin My Dab,' 'Chiraq,' and 'Who The Plug,' all of which have been played numerous times on 'SoundCloud.' Of these tracks, 'Who The Plug' and 'Chiraq' were released on Tray’s 'SoundCloud' account. In an attempt to make a career as an actor and a model, Tray ventured into 'YouTube' in 2013. In 2017, he launched a collaborative channel with his friend and vlogger Chris Gilly. The channel was initially titled 'Clout of Atlanta.' The channel primarily hosts pranks, challenges, Q&A videos, storytimes, and other entertaining videos. Some of their most popular videos on the channel with millions of views are 'Let’s Kiss Prank On Air,' 'Ignoring Prank on Air! (She Gets Mad),' 'Hickey Prank on Air,' and 'Argument Prank on Tray.' The channel is now known as ‘Chris And Tray’ and has more than 755 thousand subscribers.

Tray later launched his individual self-titled channel that hosts similar content. His girlfriend and fellow "YouTuber" Airionna Lynch often appears in the channel's videos. Tray also features his parents and sister in his vlogs. This channel, however, has a lot less subscribers than Tray’s collaborative channel. The channel has accumulated a little over 95 thousand subscribers. Tray is also popular on 'Instagram,' where his posts have earned him over 580 thousand followers.

Tray was born on August 25, 1995, in Atlanta, Georgia. He has one younger sister who also owns a 'YouTube' channel. He dropped out of college to pursue a career in 'YouTube' and modeling.

He likes wearing baseball caps. His favorite brand is ‘Apple’. Tray has a fetish for cars and that reflects in his 'Instagram' posts.
