Tucker Roberts studied at Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and graduated in 2013 with a degree in Marketing and Management. Though initially interested in joining other financial magnates at the Wall Street, he decided to take another path after witnessing the recession. He had previously interned with Activision Blizzard in July 2011 and was influenced by the world of new-age entertainment. He began his professional career at Electronic Arts, a video games company, as an assistant producer and stayed there until July 2015. He later co-founded his own company, Refresh.us, and worked for it until October 2016. He decided to join his family’s business and started working for Comcast Ventures in September 2016 as the Entrepreneur in Residence. Within a year, he moved to Comcast Spectator to take on the role of a Strategic Advisor of their Overwatch team. As the advisor, he managed the day to day operations of the team, which involved signing new and talented players, negotiating contracts and other marketing deals, as well as building the brand.

At this time, Comcast was looking for something new and it wanted to explore the world of video games. It soon launched Philadelphia Fusion, a company solely dedicated to the world of online gaming and e-sports. Roberts was deemed the natural heir in the family to take over Comcast’s new company. Roberts was thrilled with his new responsibilities and stated that e-sports were the future and this was the way millennials prefer to play. He joined the company in January 2018 as its CEO. The company is growing bigger by the day and has over 35 million players under its helm. The team comprises several players who play competitive video games in a live arena before a grand audience. The whole event is streamed online and attracts millions of participants. In the team’s inaugural season at Overwatch, Philadelphia Fusion reached the finals and became the runner-up, claiming $400,000 as its prize money.

Many media outlets speculate that Munn’s love for video games brought the two together. She was a co-host of the video game show, ‘Attack of the Show’, in the early days of her acting career. It is only natural that she got attracted to somebody who also loved video games and worked for them. Their gaming history might have sparked off the romance between them. After their first public appearance in December, they continue to be seen with each other during special events. Despite that, they refrain from posting photographs of each other on their social media accounts. Roberts is currently busy preparing for the next Overwatch League season that is scheduled for February 2019. He proactively works towards bringing diversity to his team. He is currently the face of the team and often represents it at international events.
