Tyler Schrage was born on August 24, 1999, in Festus, a small town in Jefferson County, south of St. Louis, Missouri, U.S.

Tyler does not speak much about his father because he shared a difficult relationship with him. He once said his father had tried turning him into a hyper-ambitious child, and he found that environment toxic. He, however, is quite close to his mother, as she faced a lot of issues while raising him and his siblings. Tyler has two younger siblings: a brother and a sister.

Tyler once mentioned that his mother was just 17 when he was born. She initially had a hair salon and then changed jobs to work with children with special needs.

Tyler was part of the football and track and field teams in high school. After completing senior high school, he took up odd jobs in his hometown.

Tyler Schrage rose to fame with his content on TikTok. When he had decided to move to Los Angeles, his mother had thought he was going there because he was gay and had a boyfriend. However, he later clarified that his sole aim was to build his career.

He posted his first TikTok clip in December 2018. Over the years, his TikTok account, thetylerschrage, has gained over 25.4 million likes and more than 1.3 million fans. He is known for his duets, comedy clips, point-of-view videos (POVs), lip-sync videos, and other content. Many of his videos have featured appearances by fellow social-media stars such as Ashton Sky, Ryan Clements, Tyler Ashton, and Kyle Colver.

His first Instagram post dates back to October 2016. His Instagram account, Thetylerschrage, has gained over 223 thousand followers to date. In August 2020, he posted a video of himself on Instagram, lip-syncing to Post Malone’s track I Fall Apart, while taking off his mask.

His Twitter account, TheTylerSchrage, was launched in March 2019 and has already gained over 2 thousand followers. He is on Snapchat as TylerSchrage24.

He is one of the official spokespersons for the organization Down to Fundraise Headquarters (DTFHQ), which ties up with celebrities and social-media influencers for events, campaigns, and giveaways involving non-profit organizations.

In 2019, he signed with Zachary Jaydon’s Hollywood agency PopWrapped Entertainment Group, which has many rising stars, such as Daniel Rengering, under its wing.

Tyler Schrage has been part of events as Social Bash, Boys of Summer Tour, Winter Lights, Playlist Live, and VidCon. He is a successful model and has been part of campaigns for brands such as Guess and H&M. He has also been part of an ad shoot in Costa Rica.

He lost a lot of friends when he started getting serious about his life and goals. When he left for Los Angeles, his friends distanced themselves from him, thinking he was being a snob for showcasing that he was “being too good for Festus.”

Since Tyler himself has seen celebrities treating their fans badly, he has resolved never to do the same. Once, while giving an interview to a journalist in an In-N-Out outlet, Tyler clicked selfies with his fans enthusiastically.

He once said that he wants to date Jennifer Aniston someday and that he admires her as an actor.

Tyler Schrage has not revealed his sexual orientation yet, despite there being speculations that he is gay. Tyler has confessed that he gets a lot of attention from both girls and boys. He, however, once said his sexuality is none of anyone’s business. He has also stated that he is single but not a virgin.
