Ashley Alexander joined You Tube in April 2013 but first began uploading videos in 2018. Her first video Huge Try-On Thrift Haul is from January 2018. On her channel, Ur Mom Ashley, she primarily uploads challenges, vlogs, hauls/fashion and beauty content. Her channel has over 1.06 million subscribers. The top three most viewed videos of her channel are how to tame your Frizzy hair, I turned my brother into BTS Jungkook and I switched diets with my brother for a day. This channel is the place where she creates most of her partnered content.

She launched her secondary (gaming) channel – aaashleyk – in October 2020 and it has over 12K subscribers. Her Instagram account @aaashleyk has over 458k followers. She is active on TikTok too and her TikTok account has over 300K fans.

She has worked with various brands, both domestically and internationally, through her social media channels. These include GAP, American Eagle, Ulta, Gucci, Amazon, Curology, Verizon, O-Lens, Princess Polly, CASTiFY, Function of Beauty, En Route Jewelry and thredUP.

Ur Mom Ashley, whose real name is Ashley Alexander, was born on 23 October 1999, in the United States, as the oldest of the three children of her parents. Her father’s name is Edward Alexander. Her mother is from South Korea and shifted to the States when she was 13 years old. Her younger siblings are a brother named Andrew and a sister named Amber, both of whom are themselves social media star. She has lived in upstate New York for most of her life.

For her education, she went to George Washington University but stayed there for only one semester. She graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2021 from where she pursued a major in Business Administration and Management with a minor in Psychology. Initially she aspired to join a medical college and pursue ophthalmology. She also focused on these studies; however, she later shifted to business once she decided to do You Tube full time. Previously, she has worked part time as ophthalmic assistant too. She wants to create a business apart from her social media career.

She speaks French and wishes to visit France. Her hobbies include reading books, drawing, painting, cooking and doing various activities (skiing, dirt bike riding, snowmobiling) with her family. She has a pet cat and a dog. Her dog is named Bubby.
