Valentina Paloma Pinault Biography

Valentina has three half-siblings. Her father has two children, a son named François and a daughter named Mathilde, from his marriage to Dorothée Lepère. They got married in 1996 but divorced in 2004. Pinault dated supermodel Linda Evangelista from September 2005 to January 2006. The relationship resulted in the birth of Valentina’s third half-sibling, Augustin James Evangelista, who was born in October 2006.

Pinault began dating Salma in April 2006. In March 2007, the news of her pregnancy surfaced. The same month, Salma and Pinault got engaged.

Valentina was born on September 21, 2007, at the 'Cedars-Sinai Medical Center' in Los Angeles, California.

Valentina is of French–Mexican descent. This helped her learn three different languages at a tender age. She learned to speak French, Spanish, and English fluently when she was a little over 2 years old.

Salma and Pinault got married on February 14, 2009, in the sixth arrondissement of Paris. On April 25, 2009, they had another wedding ceremony. Their second wedding ceremony was held in Venice in the presence of their family and friends.

The daughter of a celebrity couple, Valentina had been in the media spotlight even before she was born. Salma has, on several occasions, shown her gratitude for being Valentina’s mother. She once stated that her daughter had given a positive direction to both her personal and professional lives. She has also acknowledged Valentina’s role in strengthening her bond with Pinault. Motherhood has also encouraged Salma to devote herself to various maternity charitable activities. For instance, she promoted breastfeeding and infant nutrition by breastfeeding a hungry, poor baby during a 'UNICEF' (United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund) fact-finding trip. Salma and Valentina share an incredibly close mother-daughter bond, which is often flaunted on Salma’s social media accounts.

Valentina has often accompanied her mother to many red-carpet events. The mother-daughter was also featured on the cover of Vogue Mexico’s 2022 issue. She wishes to pursue acting, much like her mother, and also holds a passion for directing. When it comes to hobbies, Valentina is much into photography and even carries a vintage camera with her. According to Salma, her daughter is a very hard critic and is not shy about voicing her disapproval of her mother’s roles in certain movies. On The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Salma shared that she was “terrified” of bringing Valentina to the premiere of her movie, "Eternals.” However, Valentina gave a thumbs-up to the movie, calling it a good and fun film. Her celebrity crush is Kayne West. Despite being fairly popular, Valentina is not active on social media.
