Veronica Merrell-Burriss has always loved the limelight since she was a kid. She recalls that as a child she sang more than she spoke. She took up music lessons from the age of five and has mastered playing piano and guitar. She realized in her secondary years of schooling that she should put her musical talents to use. Veronica was fascinated with cameras when she was younger. When she was in 6th grade her parents got her a camera. From there her love for making videos grew. She made many videos along with her sister, none of which have ever been uploaded on her channel. It was only late into her high school years when she and her sister decided to merge music and video making in order to utilize their talents. Hence they started making videos and began their own channel where they uploaded their original songs and videos. Veronica has received awards along with her sister for their YouNow account and the two were named Best YouNowers of the Year in 2016. They also received the Best Live Show award at the Streamy Awards. In 2008, long before their social media recognition, Veronica had been cast in different commercials for the brand Build-A-Bear. Veronica Merrell-Burriss recently released a short film called It’s Veronica which was loved by her viewers. She has also been seen in television shows like ‘Jane the Virgin,’ ‘Faking It,’ and ‘Hyperlinked.’ In 2020, she starred as ‘Lola’ in the Miguel Arteta-directed American comedy film ‘Like a Boss.’ The film was largely panned by critics and scored a 21% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Veronica was born in Missouri, America. She has a twin sister, Vanessa, and the two are thick as thieves. They hit all the milestones in life together. From preschool to college, they have stuck by each other and have been best friends. They also took music lessons together and began taking training for instruments in grade 5. Veronica can play the violin, piano, and guitar to perfection. When it comes to ethnicity, the twins hail from a family of Mexican, Portuguese, Spanish, German, and Irish cultures. Veronica speaks fluently in Spanish too! Both siblings moved to Los Angeles together, in order to focus on making their future better. Veronica says it is the best thing that they have ever done, as plenty of avenues opened up for them as they moved to California. Veronica and Vanessa tactfully combined their skills to make videos and found success on YouTube. Veronica was in a relationship with Ryan.
