(Reporter)

Birthday: November 14, 1988 (Scorpio)

Born In: Boryspil, Ukraine

Vitalii Sediuk is a Ukrainian reporter, self-proclaimed cultural commentator, and comedian who has gained notoriety by assaulting various celebrities. In most of these cases, he got into places which were otherwise restricted to the public. Sediuk harboured a deep interest in both arts and writing since childhood. He decided to start his career as a reporter while he was still in college and landed his first internship with the Ukrainian TV "TET" channel. Two years later, he became a reporter for the ‘Breakfast’, a morning show on Studio 1+1, Ukraine's most popular television channel. While he has conducted quite a few legitimate interviews, he has garnered infamy for his antics against the celebrities, particularly on the red carpet. His list of victims includes Madonna, Will Smith, Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Adele, Bradley Cooper, and America Ferrera. While Sediuk says that his actions are harmless pranks, the others feel differently. He was once fired from Studio 1+1 for one such incident and was banned from all Hollywood events for another.

Career
Vitalii Sediuk began his professional career as an intern for the Ukrainian TV "TET" channel. He joined ‘Breakfast’ in 2009 and in the next two years, interviewed the likes of Bill Clinton, Madonna, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kylie Minogue, Toni Braxton, Will Smith, Pamela Anderson, Jean-Claude Van Damme, and Monica Bellucci. He first drew public attention in 2011 during the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. Sediuk, dressed as a Ukrainian Prince, asked a BBC presenter if she would marry him.
It was the incident with Madonna that made both the celebrities and the public truly aware of Sediuk. He knew beforehand how much the pop icon hates hydrangeas. At the 2011 Venice Film Festival on 1 September, he gifted her a bouquet of the flowers and she was seen expressing her disdain before the press. It sparked a controversy about Madonna’s apparent treatment of her fans.
On May 18, 2012, he was slapped by Will Smith after he kissed the actor at the premiere of ‘Men in Black 3’ in Moscow. Smith, understandably agitated, asked, “What the hell is your problem, buddy?” Sediuk later apologised to Smith in an appearance on CBS.
At the 2013 Grammy Awards, he got on the stage without any ticket and credential. Adele was receiving her award for best solo performance at the time. Sediuk ran up to the microphone and murmured, “A moment broadcast around the world but noticed by very few." He was later charged with several offences to which he pleaded no contest and was subsequently suspended for six months.
He tried to make a grand entrance at the 85th Academy Awards wearing a drag costume but was turned away by the security. In January 2014, he debuted a new prank where he would kneel at a celebrity’ feet and bury his face in his groin. His first victim was Bradley Cooper who was attending the 20th Screen Actors Guild Awards when the incident occurred. Leonard DiCaprio was subjected to this as well, at the 2014 Santa Barbara International Film Festival. However, when he attempted the same with Brad Pitt, he ended up being arrested by the Los Angeles police.
Initial stories indicated that on May 28, 2014, Sediuk had punched Pitt at the premiere of ‘Maleficent’ at the El Capitan Theater, breaking his glasses, but Pitt’s own statement revealed a different story. According to the ‘Moneyball’ star, Sediuk had “stage-driven” at him and was going to bury his face in Pitt’s groin when Pitt knocked him twice at the back of his head to get his attention and as the securities were trying to pry Sediuk off Pitt, he reached up and caught Pitt’s glasses. Facing charges of battery and assault, he pleaded no contest and was sentenced to 20 days of community service as well as a fine of $440 in lieu of court costs. He was also banned from all Hollywood events.
At the 2013 Cannes Festival, on May 16, 2014, Sediuk crawled under America Ferrera’s gown, as she was attending the premiere of her film ‘How to Train Your Dragon’ and posing for the photographers. Following this incident, many demanded that sexual assault charges be brought against him. He was also fired by Studio 1+1.
Over the years, he has run nude on the Prabal Gurung runway show at 2014 New York Fashion Week, physically accosted Kim Kardashian in September 2014 and came close to doing it again two years later, hugged Ciara while wearing nothing but a G-string, and hugged model Gigi Hadid from behind and lifted her in the air in September 2016. Recently, he had streaked the crowd at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017.
In 2012, Sediuk wrote, produced, directed, and starred in the short film ‘Gortensia’, which was based on his encounter with Madonna.
