William Peter Charles, known professionally as Will Ospreay, is a well-known English wrestler currently signed to New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). He has won several championships such as the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion, ROH World Television Championship and the WCPW Tag Team Championship. Born in Havering, London, in the UK, he was trained in Lucha Britannia's London School of Lucha Libre. He has won the Lucha Britannia World Championship twice. Ospreay made his debut in ‘Progress Wrestling’ where he performed brilliantly, eventually becoming the Progress Champion. Later he also started wrestling for Revolution Pro Wrestling where within a few years he managed to earn the Cruiserweight Championship, after beating Mike Bailey. Eventually he entered New Japan Pro-Wrestling. After a lot of struggles, he went on to win the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship after defeating Yujiro Kushida. Later he entered the Ring of Honor where he defeated Bobby Fish in his debut match, becoming the new ROH World Television Champion. However, he lost the title two days later. In his career so far, he has also wrestled for other wrestling promotions such as International Pro Wrestling and Southside Wrestling Entertainment.
