Career

After earning his Master's in Business Administration from the London School of Economics, Al Mana joined his family business to carry forward his father’s legacy. He, along with his two brothers, Hisham Saleh Al Mana and Kamal Saleh Al Mana, operates the Al Mana Group mainly in the GCC region. They are also focusing on spreading out their operations in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Al Mana operates various car rental stores across the GCC region. Their rentals deal with cars from Nissan and Renault, among others.

Al Mana’s retail section operates top chains like Saks Fifth Avenue, Harvey Nichols, Hermès, Giorgio Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Stella McCartney, Chloé, Giuseppe Zanotti, Agent Provocateur, Emporio Armani, Dior Homme, and Alexander McQueen. The company has also helped the sports outlet ‘Go Sport’ to become one of the largest outlets in the sports retail sector. The retail section also represents top fashion and garment brands like Zara, Mango, and Sephora.

To enter the entertainment business in the Middle East, Al Mana signed a deal in 2015, with ‘HMV Retail Ltd.’, an entertainment retailing company that operates in the United Kingdom. The idea was to help HMV increase their business in the Middle East and make their mark in the entertainment business.

The Al Mana food and beverage section handles outlets of McDonald's, La Maison du Chocolat, Grom, Gloria Jean's Coffees, Emporio Armani Caffe, illy, and Haagen-Dazs. It also takes care of the distribution of products by brands like Acqua Panna and San Pellegrin. Their real estate section has already done massive work in the GCC region by opening several structures like Doha Mall, Mirqab Mall, Al Waha Tower, and Citywalk Residence, and by investing in various other architectural projects.

Personal Life

Al Mana was born in Qatar on January 01, 1975. At the age of two, he moved to London with his family where he grew up with his two brothers. He attended secondary schools in London and later moved to the US for further studies. He went to the George Washington University and earned a degree before returning to London to get his Master's in Business Administration degree from the London School of Economics.

In 2012, Al Mana married American pop queen Janet Damita Jo Jackson. In 2017, almost five years after their marriage, the couple welcomed their first child, son Eissa. However, just four months after the birth of their child, the couple separated.
