Woody Mabbott has been active on social media, especially Instagram, since the age of 14. However, he became popular only two years later, when he actively began to post funny videos on TikTok. In most of his videos on the short-form video sharing app, he can be seen funnily dancing or lip syncing to popular songs with his friends. He is also gaining popularity on Instagram. He posted his first Instagram picture during his trip to Barbados in 2016, but did not post regularly for the next two years. Later, he began to chronicle his holidays to exotic locations on the photo-sharing platform. He launched his YouTube channel in June 2018 and posted his first and only video in August. The short travel vlog about his vacation to the Amilla Fushi island, located in Baa Atoll, Maldives, earned 15k views on the popular video-sharing website. In this video, he used the instrumental music of Kygo - Firestone ft. Conrad Sewell. He generally uses the following equipment to record his videos: DJI Mavic Pro, GoPro Hero 6 Black, Mouth Mount + Floaty (POV) and a selfie stick. He uses the Final Cut Pro X software to edit them. Woody Mabbott was born in Plymouth, United Kingdom into a business class family. His parents, Sarah and Darren Mabbott, have served as the directors of the company 'Silverfish UK Limited' ever since it was founded in 1999. His family moved to Cornwall when he was seven years old, and they still live there. He has a younger brother named Zak and a younger sister named Lola.

Woody began dating Phoebe Trembath in 2019 and posted a video with her on one of his social media pages. He is friends with fellow social media stars Seren Miles, Emilio Moreno, Tom Haddock and Andrew Walsh.
