Xime Ponch was born Ximena Ponce Vega on December 11, 2002, in Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico. She was raised along with her younger brother Andrew. She pursued several activities in her childhood, including gymnastics, ballet, karate, and tennis. She then started exploring social media by posting lip-sync videos on musical.ly. Her videos attracted decent number of views, making her popular on the platform. As of now, her musical.ly (TikTok) account has gathered more than three million hearts. On July 7, 2013, she created a YouTube channel and started posting vlogs, fashion, and beauty-related videos. She quickly became one of the most popular Mexican YouTubers with her musical video ‘Roast Yourself Challenge Xime Ponch’ garnering more than 26 million views within six months from the day it was published. As of now, her channel has more than 123 million views from all its videos and over 2.1 million subscribers. Some of the most viewed videos on her channel are ‘How to use Musical.ly,’ ‘Imitating Musical.lys of Twin/Twins and Friends,’ ‘Making Musical.lys with Sofia Carson and Dove Cameron,’ and ‘Holiday Expectation vs Reality.’

Xime Ponch is also popular on several other social media platforms like Snapchat, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. Apart from having a primary Instagram account, where she predominantly posts pictures, she also has a secondary account in order to post video clips. While her primary Instagram account has more than 1.2 million followers, her secondary account has over 74,000 followers. Her Twitter page has more than 64,000 followers. Over the years, Xime has used her social media popularity to secure endorsement deals with brands like ‘Nestlé,’ ‘Pai Pai MX,’ ‘Expo Eres 15,’ and ‘Ice Cream Nation.’
