He is also the co-founder of a production company named ‘Cruel and Unusual Films’. He made his film debut in 2004, with the action horror film ‘Dawn of the Dead’. It was a remake of the 1978 film of the same name by George Romero. The film was a commercial success, earning four times its budget. The success of the film helped the young director find his footing in Hollywood. His popularity increased further after he directed the epic war film, ‘300.’ He was also one of the screenwriters of the film. Over the years, Snyder has earned a reputation for his comic book and superhero films. So far in his career, he has directed several movies of the DC Extended Universe, including ‘Man of Steel.’ All of his superhero films have been tremendously successful, both commercially and critically.
