Russell Westbrook is a professional basketball player. A nine-time NBA All-Star, Russell is only one of two players in the history of the NBA to average a triple-double for an entire season. An eight-time All-NBA Team member, Russell is one of the most athletic NBA players of all time. He also frequently appears in commercials for brands like Air Jordan.

Known as much for his basketball skills, as for his towering 6’10” height, Amar'e Stoudemire has played for major teams such as the New York Knicks and the Phoenix Suns. An Olympic bronze medal winner, he now coaches the NBA team Brooklyn Nets. He also founded the Each One, Teach One foundation.

Lamar Odom is an American basketball player who helped Los Angeles Lakers win two NBA championships. He also played an important role in helping the US national team win a bronze medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics. Lamar Odom is also a music enthusiast and owns a film and music production company called Rich Soil Entertainment. 

Erik Spoelstra, who is of Filipino descent, created history when in 2008 he became the head basketball coach of Miami Heat of the National Basketball Association, making him the first Asian-American head coach of the four major North American sports leagues. When Miami Heat won in 2012, he became the first Asian-American head coach to win a NBA championship.

William Theodore Walton III, popularly known as Bill Walton, is a former basketball player. In 1977, he helped the Portland Trail Blazers win an NBA championship and won another NBA championship in 1986 while playing for the Boston Celtics. In 1993, Walton was made an inductee to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
