Alex Van Halen is an American musician known for his drumming skills. He is credited with co-founding the now-defunct band, Van Halen. The band's self-titled debut album influenced several musicians in hard rock at the time of its release in 1978. Alex is also credited with coining the term brown sound, which was usually associated with his late-brother Eddie's guitar.

Sly Dunbar is a Jamaican drummer and musician known for his contribution to the prolific reggae and rhythm section production duo, Sly and Robbie. Dunbar and Robbie are also credited with founding a popular record label named Taxi Records, which has seen releases from international artists like Beenie Man. In 2011, Dunbar was featured in the documentary Reggae Got Soul.

Known for his signature bandana and his unique style of spinning his drumsticks, Jukka Nevalainen was 11 when he started playing drums and 17 when he joined the Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish. He later left Nightwish, though he stated he would continue supporting the band behind the scenes.

Osvaldo Fattoruso was a Uruguayan musician who is credited with introducing rock music in Latin America. He is best remembered for creating a fusion between rock, jazz, and African rhythms. Osvaldo Fattoruso is also known as the brother of famous composer and multi-instrumentalist Hugo Fattoruso.
