Regarded as one of the best footballers of his generation, Kaká is a Brazilian retired football player. He is one of eight footballers to have won the Ballon d'Or, the UEFA Champions League, and the FIFA World Cup. Also known for his humanitarian work, Kaká has been working with the United Nations, as part of its World Food Programme initiative.

Dani Alves is a Brazilian professional footballer. He currently plays as a right-back for La Liga club Barcelona and the Brazil national team. He is widely considered one of the greatest full-backs of all time. With 46 titles at the senior level and 47 official titles overall, he is the most decorated player in the history of football. 

Romelu Lukaku, the Belgian football player, is known for his goal-scoring abilities. He plays in the forward position and can also play as a winger. He has scored more than 50 international goals while playing for the men’s national team of Belgium. Inter Milan, Chelsea, West Bromwich Albion, Everton and Manchester United are some of the clubs he has played for.

Ousmane Dembele is a footballer who currently plays for the France national team as well as Barcelona. Renowned for his speed, agility, and technical ability, Dembele helped his national team win its second FIFA World Cup in 2018. A skillful player, Dembele can use either foot while playing. Although a mid-fielder, he is also known for his ability to score.  

Iker Casillas is a Spanish former footballer who won the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa. Counted among the greatest goalkeepers in the history of the sport, Casillas was renowned for his spectacular saves and athleticism. He was named the IFFHS World's Best Goalkeeper on a record five occasions. Also a philanthropist, Casillas owns a charitable foundation in Spain.

Italian professional football coach and former player. Andrea Pirlo, is currently the head coach of football club Juventus. As a player, he was known for his ball control. He retired after playing 116 matches for the Italian national football team. He was elected into the Italian Football Hall of Fame in 2019.

Belgian footballer Thibaut Courtois who is a goalkeeper for the Spanish club Real Madrid is considered one of the best of his time. Starting his career with Genk, he later also played for Chelsea. He was also part of the FIFA World Cup third place-holding Belgian squad in 2018.

Brazilian footballer Marcelo Vieira, who now captains the Spanish club Real Madrid, is known as one of the world’s best left-backs. The Rio-born football star has previously had a successful stint with the Brazilian club Fluminense. He also won Brazil a team bronze and a team silver at the Olympics.

Known as an attacking midfielder from Spain, Juan Mata is a promising young footballer who plays for the Spanish national team and Manchester United. Born to a footballer father, he began his career with the Real Madrid youth team. While at Chelsea, fans called him Johnny Kills.

David Luiz is a Brazilian professional footballer. He currently plays for the Brazilian sports club Flamengo. He is primarily a center-back, but he can also play as a defensive midfielder. Since making his full international debut for Brazil in 2010, he has earned over 50 caps for his country. He also co-owns an Italian restaurant.  

Dutch football coach and retired player Dennis Bergkamp had a successful playing career with clubs such as Ajax, Arsenal, and Inter Milan. Initially a midfielder, he later played as a striker. The 2-time FIFA World Player of the Year bronze winner also gained the nickname the Non-Flying Dutchman for his fear of flying.

Petr Čech is a Czech retired football player who is currently serving as a performance and technical advisor for the popular English club Chelsea. During his playing career, Čech played as a goalkeeper and is often counted among the greatest goalkeepers of all time. Petr Čech is also considered the greatest goalkeeper in the history of the Premier League.

Isco is a Spanish football player best known for his excellent ball control and technique. Over the years, he has represented popular teams like Real Madrid and the Spain national team. He was named among the world's 30 best players during the 2017-18 season. 

Diego Simeone is an Argentine former football player who was part of the silver medal-winning team at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta. An important player for his country, Simeone also represented Argentina at the 1994, 1998, and 2002 World Cups. Simeone also won two Copa América titles for Argentina. He is currently serving as the coach of Atlético Madrid.

Mateo Kovačić is a Croatian football player who plays as a midfielder for the Croatia national football team and Premier League club Chelsea. He has represented Croatia at the World Cups and the UEFA European Football Championships. A versatile midfielder, Mateo Kovačić has also won several titles for Chelsea.

Belgian footballer Jan Vertonghen is best known as a central defender for the club Anderlecht. Starting his senior career with the club Ajax, he has also had successful stints with Tottenham Hotspur and Benfica. He was part of the FIFA World Cup third-place-winning Belgian team in 2018.

English professional footballer, Adebayo Akinfenwa, currently plays as a striker for the EFL Championship club Wycombe Wanderers. He started playing as a teenager and received praise for his abilities. However, he faced much racial discrimination as he is a man of color. He has been named Wycombe Wanderers Player of the Season twice.

Belgian professional football-midfielder Youri Tielemans plays for the Belgium national team and Leicester City. His achievements so far include winning Belgian First Division A (2013–14, 2016–17) with Anderlecht and FA Cup (2020–21) with Leicester City; and becoming Belgian Professional Footballer of the Year (2016–17). He represented Belgium during 2018 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 2020.

Belgian footballer Dries Mertens, also known as Ciro, is a striker/winger for the Turkish club Galatasaray. Starting his senior career with Gent, he has also represented the Italian club Napoli and the Dutch club Utrecht. He was also part of the FIFA World Cup third-place-winning Belgian squad of 2018.

Belgian footballer Radja Nainggolan, who plays as a midfielder for Antwerp, has also played for teams such as Cagliari and Piacenza. He began his football career with Tubantia Borgerhout at age 5. A diverse player, he won the Serie A in 2020-2021 with Inter Milan.

Frenkie de Jong is a Dutch football player who is currently playing for his national team. In 2019, he was part of the team that won the runner-up trophy at the UEFA Nations League. Renowned for his technique, attacking prowess, passing, and dribbling skills, Frenkie de Jong has also been an important player for Barcelona since 2019.

Retired Portuguese professional football player Ricardo Carvalho, who played as a centre back, is counted among the best defenders of his generation. Carvalho played with several professional football clubs besides the Portugal national team. His achievements include winning three Premier League titles with Chelsea; one La Liga with Real Madrid; and the 2016 UEFA European Championship with his national team.

Nicknamed The Kid and The Diamond from Dimona, Israeli footballer Yossi Benayoun has led his country’s national team as its captain. He now serves Beitar Jerusalem as its sporting director. Starting his career at 17, he has represented teams such as Maccabi Haifa, Liverpool, and Chelsea.

Croatian footballer Domagoj Vida is best known as a defender for the Greek club AEK Athens. Starting his senior career with Osijek, he later had successful stints with Dinamo Zagreb, Dynamo Kyiv, and Beşiktaş. He has also been part of the 2018 FIFA World Cup runner-up Croatian squad.

Starting his youth career with teams such as Monterrey and Barcelona, Mexican footballer Giovani dos Santos later went on to win a gold medal with the Mexican team at the 2012 London Olympics. He was also part of the U-17 FIFA World Championship-winning Mexican squad and is a 3-time CONCACAF Gold Cup winner.

Irish footballer James McClean is best known as a winger for Wigan Athletic and has also played for teams such as Sunderland and Derry City in the past. While he initially played for Northern Ireland junior team, he rejected a call to join their senior team and opted for the Republic of Ireland.
